Ingredients
  • 8 clove garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp kosher salt (I used Diamond Crystal)
  • 20 oz naranja agria (I used Badja brand naranja agria)
  • 1 tsp toasted granulated onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried Mexican oregano
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
Instructions
  1. Place the minced garlic and the kosher salt in a mortar. Use the pestle to mix and grind the ingredients into a paste.

  2. Add the paste along with all the other ingredients to a bowl. Whisk to combine. Store in a plastic container until needed.
